1. The new car has a bit of a smell. When I was getting my BMW serviced today, I sat in one of their display cars, and it surprisingly had the same smell.
2. The sound insulation is poor. Even with the music volume less than halfway up inside the car, you can clearly hear the music outside when the door is closed.
3. For this price, the power is decent. However, the turbo lag is noticeable. When you suddenly press the accelerator hard, it takes a fraction of a second to gather power, making it hard to change lanes in time.
4. The built-in dashcam doesn't have a recording function, but the 360-degree view is quite useful.
5. The top trim dual-clutch doesn't have a manual mode, you can only shift to the S mode at most.
6. For a coupe of this power level, the chassis is generally not high. This car has the highest chassis among coupes, with good ground clearance, so you can confidently drive it back to the countryside.
7. The rear seat space is decent, comparable to the extended version of the 3 Series.
8. The powertrain, including the engine and transmission, has a lifetime warranty (but requires all maintenance at the 4S shop, and buying insurance there can get you basic maintenance for free).
In summary, it's a low-end alternative to the Civic and BMW 320li.
