For the 2011 Suzuki Liana, if you're getting a catalytic converter fault warning, there are a few things you can consider. First, you might want to confirm the diagnosis with another mechanic to ensure it's indeed the catalytic converter that's the issue. Sometimes, other components like oxygen sensors can also trigger similar warnings.
If replacing the catalytic converter is necessary and the cost quoted is over two thousand, you might want to compare prices from different repair shops or consider aftermarket parts, which can sometimes be more affordable.

Replacing a catalytic converter including labor and materials only cost me 500. I did it, and it's great. It's not that complicated.

You can just clean the catalytic converter.

I replaced an oxygen sensor. Funny thing is, this car only has one oxygen sensor.
