To please oneself, buy a Maserati; for the sake of face, buy a Cayenne. 😄 I'm also an early adopter of imported Tesla, haha.

The Levante isn't that expensive now, at least it's cheaper than the Cayenne. The Cayenne wins in interior design trends, while the Maserati is more traditional. I've heard that the 2021 Cayenne will come with a PDK transmission, which might be worth waiting for.
