Who knows why the 2023 Lavida 1.4T engine, when lightly pressing the accelerator from 1st to 4th gear, the engine RPM rises to 2500, then drops and rises again until it reaches 5th gear to be normal, and the fuel consumption is higher than before? Anyone knows what's going on?

This is a normal line phenomenon. Before shifting up, the engine RPM increases, and after shifting, the engine RPM will decrease because the vehicle's computer controls the match between the engine RPM and the gear position.
