I have a 2011 SsangYong Korando, 2.0T, two-wheel drive version. When idling while parked or in drive, the car shakes and eventually stalls after a while. I've replaced the EGR valve, but it still shakes. Checked the fuel injectors, no error codes found. There's no SsangYong service center here anymore, and I'm really stressed out. Desperately seeking help!

I have a 2013 model, and when parking, I only dare to shift to P without pressing the brake. Otherwise, it will misfire, and the car shakes! It's like the car is about to stall.

1. Fuel supply system 2. Catalytic converter blockage

I've had the same issue, the high-pressure fuel pump was broken.

Korando is really a pit. Just like me, many repair shops can't access this car's system with their computers, and most of the 4S shops have closed down. Selling it is worthless, and the fuel consumption is extremely high. Sigh, why did I even think of buying this car? The original car price could have been a down payment for a house, which has now increased by over a million. I won't say more, I'll just cry for a while. 😭

Take a look at the camshaft.

The main issue here is likely caused by incomplete combustion. Diesel engines require more oxygen for combustion. Check the following aspects: First, ensure the swirl valve is functioning properly. The swirl valve controls the intake air volume and is prone to damage. If it's damaged, the air intake could be reduced by half. This might not matter much in city driving but can affect highway driving, potentially triggering engine warnings, so regular checks are necessary. Also, inspect the throttle body intake. If it hasn't been cleaned, there might be severe carbon buildup, which can significantly affect air intake. If there's heavy carbon buildup in the throttle body intake, the engine combustion chamber might also have serious carbon deposits. It's recommended to use carbon cleaning agents to remove engine carbon deposits.

Poor fuel quality can also cause the vehicle to shake. It's recommended to visit a 4S store, as their computer diagnostics provide a comprehensive check of the vehicle. Check the fuel pressure data flow and ignition timing, and repair according to the fault codes.

In this situation, I suggest you check the fuel system. Inspect the pressure in both the low-pressure and high-pressure fuel lines to see if it's normal. Also, take a look at the fuel pump and the filter.

I own a 2014 SsangYong Korando, 2WD high trim, 2.0 gasoline. Recently, the check engine light occasionally turns on with the error code indicating a misfire in cylinder 1. Sometimes it turns off by itself. I've swapped spark plugs between cylinder 1 and 2, ignition coils between cylinder 1 and 3, and even swapped the injectors. I planned to use elimination to check if it's the injector issue, but after each swap, the misfire code for cylinder 1 still comes back eventually! The engine idles with slight vibrations, but I don't feel any power loss on the highway—it easily goes over 160 km/h. Later, I measured the cylinder pressure: cylinder 1 is at 8 kg, while the others are over 10 kg. After researching online, I suspect it's an exhaust valve issue. Now I'm really torn. Should I just let it be, or go for a major repair? I read online that some people can fix it by opening the cylinder head without removing the engine. But the local big auto shop is no more, and the private mechanic suggests removing the engine, which I really don't want to do—worried it won't fit back as perfectly as the original. It's stressful because I bought this as a first car for my father, who has loved cars all his life, and now this happens. I've been to various places without a clear diagnosis. Some say it's slight cylinder wear, some say valve leakage, and others mention cylinder head design flaws. Any advice from fellow Korando owners on how to solve similar issues would be greatly appreciated!

I've got a 2012 Changhe Liana, and it's been having issues with shaking at idle, while driving, and even more when the AC is on. I've already replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils, and cleaned the fuel injectors and throttle body, but the problem persists. The check engine light comes on frequently. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

My car had a minor collision and was repaired, but the alignment wasn't done. The steering wheel is off-center. After driving for a while, an error code appeared, indicating that the stability control system needs repair. A diagnostic showed that the steering wheel position is incorrect. After clearing the error code, it came back after driving for a while. Can any experts advise on what the issue might be?

I've got a 2013 Kia Sportage Manual GL 2.0, and the steering wheel shakes when idling. I've cleaned the carbon buildup in the engine cylinders, the injectors, and the idle valve. I also replaced the spark plugs and engine mounts last year. Any experts out there have any advice?

Hey car enthusiasts, when I put my 4WD on a lift, the front wheels spin but the rear ones don't. After a while, it shows a "4WD Overheat" warning. But when I drive on the road for a bit, the error code disappears.

Why is my vehicle shaking a little while driving?

If your 2010 Suzuki Swift 1.5 automatic is still shaking after replacing the spark plugs, ignition coils, PCV valve, and EGR valve, there could be other issues at play. Some potential causes could be: - Engine mounts: Worn or damaged engine mounts can cause vibrations. - Fuel injectors: Clogged or malfunctioning fuel injectors can lead to engine misfires. - Throttle body: A dirty or faulty throttle body can affect engine performance. - Air intake system: Check for any leaks or blockages in the air intake system. - Transmission issues: Problems with the transmission can also cause vibrations. You may want to consult a professional mechanic to diagnose the issue more accurately.

Hey car enthusiasts, has anyone experienced shaking during sudden acceleration? It shakes after driving steadily for a while, especially noticeable at high speeds. The 4S shop only cleared the previous driving habits, which improved slightly but didn't solve the root problem.
