I'm looking to buy a used car for practice with a budget under 30,000. I'm not picky about the features, manual is fine too, but I've heard the used car market is quite chaotic. I don't have friends who know much about cars either, so I'm worried about getting scammed. Any good advice from experienced folks? 😟😟😟

Consider getting a third-party inspection. It should be fine.

I just sold my 2017 manual Jetta 1.5 to a car dealer for 24,000. You can use this as a reference.

Practicing doesn't require a high budget, just over 10k is enough. Old Jetta, old Santana, old Elantra, just go for it. If it breaks, it's not a big deal.

When buying a used car, you should have a budget of around 10,000 for maintenance and repairs.

Jetta is fine too. I'm hesitant to buy a domestic large SUV because they're a bit fuel-consuming. Looking at Changan 75 and Geely Boyue, they both drive well and are sufficient, just a bit heavy on fuel.

Hello Polestar 2 owners! My family is considering getting an electric car for my wife, with a budget of around 100,000. We're worried about buying a new electric car and then regretting it later, so we're thinking about getting a used Polestar 2, either the 2020 launch edition or the 2021 model. I want to ask if this car is reliable as a second-hand option and if the range is dependable. Is it still a good choice to buy?
