How do I turn off the maintenance lamp in a Toyota Corolla after an oil change?

I tried this method on a 2020 Corolla, and it worked fine. But if you have a newer model, you might need to reset it through the infotainment system instead of the button. If you’re unsure, check the car’s manual or ask the dealership.

Turn off the ignition (the car should be off). Press and hold the Trip/ODO button on the dashboard. Turn on the ignition (without starting the car) and keep holding the button until the display resets to zero and the light disappears. Turn off the ignition and restart the car. The maintenance lamp should now be off.
