I'm asking fellow car enthusiasts about the pros and cons of a 2.5 hybrid versus a 2.0T in practical use. Currently in the car selection process. 😊

Personally, if you're not looking for 4WD capability, the hybrid might be a better choice. In terms of the transmission, the eCVT is said to have a simpler structure and smoother performance. As for the battery, with an 8-year or 200,000 km warranty, driving it for 10 years shouldn't be a problem. The 2.5 hybrid 4WD is almost equivalent to not having it at all [I want to be quiet][I want to be quiet]. As for the power, since you've already chosen the Highlander, the 2.5 is barely sufficient.

If you're considering a fuel-efficient car, just go for a hybrid without hesitation. If you're hesitating, it means fuel efficiency isn't your top priority, so just stick with a gasoline car.

If you drive a lot, hybrid cars save more on fuel. If you drive less, choose fuel-powered ones as they have better sound insulation compared to hybrids. But if you don't mind spending on fuel, go for fuel-powered; they are better in various aspects except for fuel consumption. [I want to be alone]
