Why does the MG GT's air conditioning only blow towards the front windshield, and the other direction buttons don't work? What could be the reason?

Disconnect the battery for a minute or two, then reconnect it, and it should be fine.

After taking apart the center console, unplugging the wires and plugging them back in fixed the issue.

The wind direction motor is broken on mine too, but you can replace it without removing the dashboard.

I have the same issue with my Rui Xing GT. The repair shop said it's the throttle switch that's broken. I don't get it. They also mentioned that they need to lift the dashboard to fix it.

The air conditioning control board is broken, and I've also been impacted once. It's still under warranty.

We usually only press the button for the front defogger when there's fog on the windshield. If you want to change the airflow direction, you can press other buttons to redirect the airflow (like face or feet). If pressing the button doesn't work, it might be a malfunction, and you may need to check the circuitry.
