Have you noticed that the low beams have a very short range? On roads without streetlights, when the automatic high beams are turned on, they turn off as soon as there's an oncoming car, and the low beams make it hard to see the road just 3 meters ahead.

The height of the lights can be adjusted. There's a switch on the lower left to do that.
