For this car, you need to buy a battery with more than 70AH. A smaller battery won't provide enough power and will charge slowly.

The charger might also have severely worn carbon brushes, leading to insufficient charging.

If the battery is fine, then it's the engine oil... You need to add 5W-30 low viscosity oil.

Your batteries might have been misled by the repair shop. I also replaced my battery, but after just a few starts, the new battery wouldn't work. Later, I found out that the original battery brand was Varta, and you need to get the 72-75 model. After replacing it, the car starts instantly, and even after several starts, there are no issues at all.

The same issue, it takes 6 seconds to start when it's cold. How did you solve it, OP?

I'm not sure where this car is losing power. I had the same issue. I replaced the battery and spark plugs six months ago, but starting the car is still tough. When it's cold, the voltage is only 11.3.

Check the car's battery voltage to see if it's too low. If it's been used for a long time, the battery might need replacing. Also, check the car's starter to see if there's any issue.

There could be several reasons why your 2.9T6 steering feels particularly heavy. Common causes might include low power steering fluid, issues with the power steering pump, or alignment problems. It's also possible that the tires are underinflated or there's an issue with the steering linkage. It would be best to have a professional mechanic inspect your vehicle to diagnose the exact cause.

When the MINI is in D gear and you brake, if there's a prompt to shift the transmission to P gear, there might be a couple of reasons for this. It could be an issue with the gearbox or a safety feature that's activating. If the car doesn't move when you release the brake, it might be due to a malfunction or an electronic system engaging to prevent movement. It's best to consult the vehicle's manual or contact a professional mechanic to diagnose the issue accurately.
