Hey fellow 2025 GWM GS8 owners, have y'all experienced issues like the system freezing, screen flickering, rebooting, or crashing? I'm planning to buy one, but the online cases are kinda worrying.

My 2022 model has frozen twice, both times when using CarPlay. I stopped using it and haven't experienced any freezing or black screen for almost a year. However, it's still quite laggy for the first two minutes after starting up, but then it gets better.

The 2025 model with the 8155 chip generally runs smoothly, but don't expect any advanced smart features from it.

The 2022 model's in-car system is quite disappointing. It's very laggy! Consider carefully before purchasing.

The reality is that the software development department is practically non-existent. The car paint feels like some low-quality paint that someone took a kickback for... It fully reflects that there's no one doing their job at the manufacturer. GAC's urgent task should be to establish an anti-corruption office. The first step in a company's decline is to investigate internally. Who is blocking the information between the people and the manufacturer? Instead of just listening to reports every day, why not check the forums? The feedback given to you is probably all covered up.

I've been using it for over a month and haven't noticed any issues so far.

I can only say that the car infotainment system is garbage. The 2022 model hasn't been updated for a year and a half. The last update was in April last year, which added CarPlay, and it came with a ton of bugs that are just unbearable.

The GAC infotainment system is just trash level 👎👎👎. Other parts have no issues except for the thin white paint. 😬😬😬

For the 2022 model, I didn't experience these issues. I personally think it's important to trust your own judgment—take a test drive and talk to owners who get their cars serviced at 4S shops. Online opinions vary greatly and can sometimes be misleading.

I own a 2014 SsangYong Korando, 2WD high trim, 2.0 gasoline. Recently, the check engine light occasionally turns on with the error code indicating a misfire in cylinder 1. Sometimes it turns off by itself. I've swapped spark plugs between cylinder 1 and 2, ignition coils between cylinder 1 and 3, and even swapped the injectors. I planned to use elimination to check if it's the injector issue, but after each swap, the misfire code for cylinder 1 still comes back eventually! The engine idles with slight vibrations, but I don't feel any power loss on the highway—it easily goes over 160 km/h. Later, I measured the cylinder pressure: cylinder 1 is at 8 kg, while the others are over 10 kg. After researching online, I suspect it's an exhaust valve issue. Now I'm really torn. Should I just let it be, or go for a major repair? I read online that some people can fix it by opening the cylinder head without removing the engine. But the local big auto shop is no more, and the private mechanic suggests removing the engine, which I really don't want to do—worried it won't fit back as perfectly as the original. It's stressful because I bought this as a first car for my father, who has loved cars all his life, and now this happens. I've been to various places without a clear diagnosis. Some say it's slight cylinder wear, some say valve leakage, and others mention cylinder head design flaws. Any advice from fellow Korando owners on how to solve similar issues would be greatly appreciated!

Hey fellow car owners, does the 07 Lexus IS 250 (low trim without screen) have a BLIS system? Also, is there a USB port, and where's the cigarette lighter located?

Hey fellow car enthusiasts, my car is over seven years old and I haven't changed the tires yet. It's only been driven 60,000 kilometers. The tires are slightly aging, but I haven't driven much in recent years. It's mostly parked in the basement, so it's rarely exposed to the sun. Should I change the tires? I'm planning a long trip and am a bit worried!
