That was the era of Bluetooth 1.2 systems. Back then, being able to connect your phone to take a call was considered advanced. Thinking about it, 14 years ago, I used to boast about this feature to others, but now it's long outdated. You shouldn't have high expectations for a car that's 14-15 years old.

Older car models' Bluetooth systems can only make phone calls and don't have the capability to play music. This is mainly because the older Bluetooth systems are not compatible with current Bluetooth phone systems.
