😄 If you think it's expensive, it's not their problem. Maybe reflect on yourself. Besides, you can always buy a second-hand one.

When I placed my order back in August, I felt the same way. I trusted the salesperson's words, and sure enough, the discounts for the advanced package and sports package are gone. They really can do that. Now they're offering a first-year insurance subsidy, but the insurance isn't even 1.5. So, buying their cars early on is good for getting more benefits, and it's also a good idea during mid-cycle updates. I guess there will be big discounts during the Double 11 sale too. Of course, if you don't choose anything extra, it's still quite suitable, as there's an insurance subsidy now. Anyway, the tightening is on the advanced and sports packages.

Their company operates on a direct sales model with a nationwide fixed price. Unlike other brands, where the price might drop by 5,000 the day after you purchase, they won't backstab existing car owners.

Hyundai has taken a laid-back approach. They don't seem to care much whether people buy their cars or not, as they have strong sales abroad. I think they became the world's second-largest automaker this year. [I need a moment]

You can check the pricing of this car in South Korea and the US. Given the high import taxes in China, the current pricing is quite reasonable, almost at cost price. Hyundai is quite wealthy; otherwise, this business wouldn't be sustainable.

Direct sales from the manufacturer, similar to Xiaomi and Tesla. The advantage is that there's no need to haggle with salespeople before purchase, and after-sales service is guaranteed. The downside is that there are no discounts.

It's all about making quick profits, without even setting up factories locally. They'll sell for a few years, reap the benefits, and then exit the market. Just standard operations, nothing surprising. 😄
