Are you torn between the G80 and the Mercedes E? I'm currently driving an XC60, and honestly, Volvo's resale value in the domestic market is disappointing. I initially thought I wouldn't care and would drive it for 10 years, but the reality is that I'm planning to switch in less than 7 years. Considering the future resale value of the G80, I'm a bit conflicted.

We both have the same anxiety.

Nowadays, when buying a car, I don't consider resale value; I only care about whether I like it or not. [I want some peace and quiet]

Cars used to hold their value, but now there's no car that retains its value; they can depreciate so much it makes you question everything.

The best option is to keep driving and not switch. In an economic downturn, your car's mileage and age are both quite low, so just keep using it. Whether it's the E or the 80, they haven't really brought significant changes; it's just a matter of replacing the old with the new.

What are you thinking? Do you still need a car now? And you still want it to have a high resale value?

I replaced my old Mercedes E350EL with a G80.

The resale value is pretty much similar, right? The current market situation isn't good, and car prices can't hold up. 🌹

This kind of post is meaningless, it's obviously a bait post.

If you're planning to drive for seven to eight years or more, choose the Genesis G80. If it's just for three to five years, go for the Mercedes. For quality, pick Genesis; for prestige, pick Mercedes.

If you're considering value retention, don't rush to change your car. Just keep driving it for now. 😎
