If maintained properly, the major components won't fail. Other small parts are definitely more stable than German cars. If the collision isn't severe, you can use second-hand parts; it's no big deal. A car is just a tool, as long as safety is ensured, it's fine. For the whole set, you'll have to look for parts from scrapped cars, haha.
