Why do I feel a strong drag when I release the accelerator? Does anyone else experience this? I have a 2024 Forester 2.5 with less than 1000 kilometers. What could be the reason? Looking for advice.

When the speed is around 21, there is a slight surge forward. If you apply the brakes, you don't feel this sensation.

It should be the transmission issue. I didn't have this problem before, but now it's showing up at 50,000 kilometers.

I actually experience a dragging sensation when coasting at speeds between 35-20.

My Haval has 2000 km, and I occasionally feel this too. There's no pattern, just occasionally!

Naturally aspirated cars are like this. They lack inertia, so when you accelerate, they go, and when you release the throttle, they immediately slow down. My Camry 2.5 is just like that.

It seems like your speed and gear aren't well-coordinated. Looks like you're not an experienced driver!

I also occasionally experience this situation. The technician at the 4S shop checked and found no issues; it's considered normal. [I want to be alone]

I got the 2024 2.5 Flagship in July, and it's currently at 2200 kilometers. I'm experiencing the same issue. When I release the accelerator, there's a noticeable slight braking sensation. However, at speeds of 20-25 km/h, it feels like the brakes suddenly release, making the car lurch forward and glide quickly.

It's normal, it'll be fine after the break-in period.
