Does replacing the valve cover gasket and reapplying sealant on the 2021 Forester require lifting the engine? Both the 4S shop and outside mechanics say that the new engine bay has become smaller and that lifting the engine is necessary to replace the valve cover gasket. Is that true?

I've driven 140,000 kilometers and just replaced the ignition coil. Oil is leaking everywhere from the ignition coil position.
