Hey fellow car enthusiasts, have any of you compared the Lotus EMIRA with the Alfa Romeo Giulia 🍀?

Without direct comparisons, sports cars should only be compared with other sports cars, considering both price and performance. First, in terms of price, Emira has no competitors (currently, the 718 S or GTS are almost unavailable without personalized customization, which would make the price exceed that of the Emira). The 911 Carrera is around 140,000, and the 5.0 Mustang could be considered, but you need to accept the brand. From a performance standpoint, the 718 GTS of the same class has advantages in transmission, displacement, and the layout of its flat-six engine. The 5.0 naturally aspirated Mustang has great potential, but again, you need to accept the brand. As for the higher-level 911 Carrera, as far as I remember, its performance isn't stronger than the Emira. So, if you choose the Emira, it stands unique on its own.

Different people have different tastes, so there's no real comparison. The Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio is a front-wheel-drive coupe, with an engine from the Italian brand. I haven't driven it, but I guess the driving experience is somewhat similar to the M2. The Emira, on the other hand, is a mid-engine sports car, valued for its looks, Lotus's aerodynamics, and chassis tuning. Its racing genes are purer than the Quadrifoglio. The M139 engine's power certainly isn't as strong as the detuned Italian V6, but Lotus's lightweight design also positively affects the power-to-weight ratio.
