When the car is parked without turning off the engine, in P gear, and the handbrake is engaged, I notice a clicking sound from the gear lever area every time I press the brake. I didn't notice this issue before, but it happened today. Has anyone else experienced the same situation? I've had the car for over a year and have driven 4,000 kilometers.

The gear lever on this company car is problematic. After shifting to reverse, the detent stays in the engaged position even when you return it to neutral. You have to push it down to disengage. I didn't pay attention today, and when coasting downhill while pressing the clutch, I directly shifted to first gear without pushing the detent down. As a result, the car stalled and now it won't start at all.
I have a 2018 2.0 4WD Jeep Renegade. When I start the car, while the gear is in the P position and I press the brake, I hear a clicking sound from the gear area. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
I have a question. Today while driving, I noticed that the gear shift lever on my automatic transmission can be shifted without pressing the button on the handle. Is this a problem?
4Guys, I'm really freaking out. Just now, while driving smoothly, the D gear light (the one on the gear shift) started flashing, and the dashboard showed "Please shift to D gear first before selecting the appropriate gear." I was in a panic and didn't know whether to press the brake and shift to P gear or shift to P gear and then to D gear, and then it prompted "Speed too high to shift into D gear (or maybe P gear, I forgot)." It was terrifying, the car felt like it was in neutral and there was no power when I pressed the accelerator. I managed to park on the side using inertia, shifted back to P gear, and then to D gear, and it resumed normal driving. I want to ask you guys, what's going on here exactly? Is there a specific part that's malfunctioning?
5Before driving, I can only shift gears by pressing the shift lock button, and once I shift back to the P gear, I have to press the lock button again to shift! The brake lights are working fine! I recently replaced the handbrake cable and gear cable. Has anyone else experienced this situation?
6This morning I noticed that there are only 7 gears in manual mode, what's going on?
7Today, my car suddenly won't start and won't shift gears. The screen displays a message saying "Please shift to P or N." Have any of you encountered this situation before? What's the solution? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
8I accidentally discovered that when switching gears on the Grand Cherokee, there's a noticeable "click" sound from underneath the chassis. However, the driving is smooth with no abnormalities. Have any fellow car enthusiasts experienced the same situation?
9Gear won't engage. Every time this happens, I just turn off the car, wait a bit, then restart, and it goes back to normal. Took it to the repair shop, but they couldn't find any issues.
10Is it normal for the Haval Jolion Comfort edition to lurch slightly when you park on a slope, shift to P, engage the electronic handbrake, and then release the foot brake?
