Complaint about the Volkswagen Lavida new energy vehicle. Major negative review: The battery lacks a cooling function. While charging at around 100A, the Lavida only charges at 28A to 30A at a fast-charging station, making highway driving really frustrating.

Wow, no wonder the charging was super slow and couldn't even fully charge after just one highway trip. I thought it was a problem with the charging station.

Without a battery management system, this is what happens. With continuous high power output, the temperature will definitely be high. There's an unreliable way to mitigate this: 5 minutes before charging or when you're 2-3 kilometers away, drive slowly to let the battery cool down. I'm using this method now. Otherwise, the temperature won't drop quickly, and the charging speed will drive you crazy. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I went to check out the Lavida Pure Electric with a 346 km range today. The salesperson said the original price was over 140,000 RMB, but after the discount, it's 85,800 RMB. However, they also mentioned an additional charge of 3,000 RMB for the charging station and a combined fee of 2,000 RMB for licensing and service. But SAIC Volkswagen's official customer service said the charging station is supposed to be free. [Shocked] This is quite a trick.

The Volkswagen Lavida charges very slowly, and it charges even slower when the car is warmed up.

I would like to ask if the fast charging for the Taycan can only be used at Porsche's official charging stations? Can outside charging stations provide fast charging? How is the charging speed?

I can't charge my electric Lavida, thought it was a grounding issue (there's a grounding wire left by the developer in the electrical box), so I connected it to the ground as well, using two 60cm grounding rods and a 50cm grounding angle iron, but it still sometimes charges and sometimes doesn't. Even the portable charger doesn't work. It's driving me crazy. When I took it to the 4S dealership, it charged fine. They updated the car's system, but it still won't charge at home. I tried two neighbors' charging stations, but it still won't charge. What's going on? Has anyone experienced something similar? It's been over 3 years and 50,000 km.
