Why does the manufacturing date of May 24th for the X version show the VIN as not being the 2024 model but the 2023 revised X version? Can someone please explain this?

I bought the lowest trim of the automatic model. Is there a similar version? I want to ask if the trunk comes with a storage board. My car didn't come with one, and they said only the higher trims have it. Can someone explain this?
