Have the minor issues with Iveco been improved now? I'm considering getting the 3.0 long low version!

Is the transmission of the 1.3T version of the Jeep Renegade the same as the old one? Are there any improvements in comparison, and is the failure rate high? I'm considering getting the 1.3, but there are so few four-wheel-drive options. I also don't want a naturally aspirated engine.
