As someone who has been driving an electric pickup, let me tell you, the biggest hassle isn't about scrapping, annual inspections, or high insurance costs. The real issue is that it's essentially only useful for point-to-point travel. It's speed-limited on highways, so you end up weaving through the truck lanes. It's a nightmare to drive into old residential areas. My wife rode with me once for a trip, and she said she'd never do it again.

Cities restrict pickup trucks because their emissions are too high. Pickup trucks are also scrapped due to emissions. This one is all-electric, so it shouldn't have mandatory scrapping. 😊

It's quite challenging. Firstly, it's a pickup truck, and many cities don't allow them. Also, the entire body is stainless steel, which doesn't absorb energy. Even at low speeds, it could cause serious injury if it hits someone.
