Hey car enthusiasts, I've found the reason. You need to format it to FAT32 first to use it; other formats won't be recognized.

Check out the formats for USB drives and SD cards. The common formats are FAT32, NTFS, and exFAT. Car systems usually can't recognize the NTFS format. Formatting them to either of the other two using a computer should work fine.
