MG GS, with over 60,000 km, recently having trouble starting the car. It requires several attempts to start. Once started, five or six warning lights come on, and when pressing the accelerator, the car doesn't move, can't go over 10 km/h. It often needs to be turned off or re-shifted. Sometimes while driving, pressing the accelerator doesn't speed up the car, but the engine sounds like it's in neutral. It also jerks when moving. Local repair shops are hesitant to fix it, and the 4S shop is too far away. I'm worried the car won't accelerate on the road, which could lead to an accident. Seeking help.
