Due to work, I've moved to a rural area and I'm considering buying a four-wheel drive vehicle. My options are the Haval Raptor and Subaru XV. I want to ask friends here, is the trunk of the XV spacious enough? I have a two-month-old baby and often need to carry a stroller. From the photos, the XV's trunk doesn't look very large. Also, there's a common issue with boxer engines consuming oil—does the XV have this problem too?

The physical factors of a horizontally opposed engine are unavoidable. Pay attention to observation and perform timely maintenance.

Just visit the store. If it doesn't work out, then go for the Forester.

If you need space, go for the Forester. It's a bit more expensive, but the space is sufficient.

Batteries emit radiation, and prolonged exposure can affect children.

Honestly, bro, Subaru has relatively fewer minor issues. I also have a kid, and while the space isn't huge, it's basically enough.

In this day and age, buying a Subaru? Tank 300 or Geely Xingyue L would do just fine.

You might want to consider the Forester. The oil consumption issue is an old story and has been resolved in the newer models.

The oil burning issue is no longer a problem, but the Chery Tiggo's trunk is indeed small. You might consider adding a roof luggage box, or look into other cars. How about the Mazda CX-50? It's also targeted for outdoor use and is cheaper than the Tiggo, with plenty of space. However, the current version available doesn't have all-wheel drive, but the hybrid version in the future is expected to have it.

The oil burning issue mainly appeared in older models, but Subaru's new models have addressed this problem. However, the trunk space in Jaguar isn't very large, though it can still fit a folded stroller.
