The test drive car is quite new, and there's a slight smell, but it's within my acceptable range. It's similar to the Palisade, and it'll dissipate over time. Imported cars generally have a smaller odor. If you're still concerned, you might consider switching to Volvo, which has an even smaller smell and is a good car too, though it's not as fun to drive as the Subaru.

No plastic smell. The mid-range and higher trims have a leather scent. The materials are very reassuring. Just go and check it out to see for yourself.
