It's not that it doesn't come with a PDK transmission, but because the Cayenne, as an SUV, requires greater torque. The PDK transmission has a lower torque capacity, so the torque converter is actually more suitable for the Cayenne. Additionally, the Cayenne's transmission is designed under Porsche's special conditions.

Not as good to drive as BMW's X5, and Aisin's 8AT is not as good as ZF's.
