If the person in the front seat is tall, like 180 cm, it's recommended for someone around 160 cm to sit in the back. Otherwise, having two people who are both 180 cm might feel a bit cramped. But ultimately, it depends on your specific needs for the car. As you mentioned, it should be absolutely fine.

The horizontal space is fine, but the headroom isn't particularly advantageous. It depends on the height of the passengers.
