Why does my 2009 Volvo C30 lack power when it's cold, but has power once it's warmed up?

When the car lacks power when cold and only performs better once warmed up, it might be a good idea to check if the spark plugs need replacement. Also, if there's a lot of carbon buildup inside the engine, it can definitely have a significant impact.
