Is anyone else experiencing unstable idling with the new BRZ? Even without the AC on, whether the car is cold or warm, the gauge needle fluctuates noticeably.

Are you going to the 4S dealership for the new car?

It's normal for a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine to achieve 235 horsepower, as it requires a high-angle camshaft, which inevitably affects idle stability. High-rev engines are like this. Many more extreme race cars don't even idle; they only run at high RPMs.

Fuel quality issues can be mitigated by using IPRON 98, as it might perform better. Adding fuel additives each time you refuel can also help alleviate the problem.

Do you guys feel the car shaking a lot when sitting on the seat?

I added two bottles of additive, and it stabilized at around 300 kilometers per tank. But later it didn't work anymore. It seems like it's an issue with our fuel quality, even though I always use 98.

It's normal. Some people's idle speed is 600 RPM... Mine is at least 800 RPM.

Occasionally fluctuates by about 100 RPM. Mine does too.
