Does the price drop of imports have anything to do with the depreciation of the Japanese yen?

You should check out the domestic price for the imported Crown sedan. This car is quite expensive.

It matters, but it doesn't affect us much. [I want to be alone for a while]

[Thought] The biggest impact on imported cars is the exchange rate. Back in 2022, this car was equivalent to 190,000, but now, even though the price has increased, it's 165,000 when converted according to the exchange rate. Then, considering all the taxes and fees for importing into the country, you multiply that by 1.37. This gives you the price after customs clearance. Adding transportation and other hidden costs, which are about 8,000, the new model's clearance cost is approximately 235,000.
