In terms of failure rate, which is higher, diesel or gasoline? I'm considering getting one.

Isn't it said that diesel engines have a low failure rate?

Domestic diesel isn't suitable for household use. For personal use, it's better to stick to gasoline vehicles. Using a diesel car at home can be quite troublesome.

In my opinion, it's more likely diesel, as there seems to be less feedback on gasoline.

Diesel engines are harder to repair, while any shop can fix gasoline engines!

I've driven 30,000 kilometers with my diesel car and haven't encountered any major issues. I'm not sure why others have so many problems. For regular city commuting, without any off-road history, it feels quite good. The fuel consumption is also low, usually around 8.5. I suggest avoiding low-speed driving to prevent the particulate filter from getting clogged. As for AdBlue, it's really not a problem. A full tank can last for about 10,000 kilometers, so there's no need to think of it as a hassle. Off-road vehicles shouldn't be compared to regular sedans; they're not the same type. If you like something, just enjoy it, and there's no need to worry too much.

Theoretically, diesel engines are considered to be the most reliable.
