Hey folks, I'm thinking of buying a used car just for commuting. This model is quite niche; does that mean its quality isn't good?

I also have one, it's been three years. Besides the noise and the thin paint, there aren't any issues. Buying a second-hand one for commuting is definitely a good option! The fuel consumption isn't high, and the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine is stable and durable.

The price is quite high! Look, the Sagitar is being sold at the same price as the Lavida.

As long as you can accept the noise, there's no other issue with this car.

The new car costs just over a hundred thousand to drive off the lot. This car is the Corolla 2.0 version. It didn't sell well before because the price was too high and no one wanted to buy it. Now it's not selling because production has stopped and the manufacturer isn't giving tasks to the 4S stores. There are many new cars in stock in Tianjin, all produced in the second half of 2023, with discounts of around 60,000. Based on the current market where it costs just over a hundred thousand to drive off the lot, it's quite cost-effective for home use. Some people worry about stock cars, but I bought one for my dad, which had been in stock for a whole year. It's running great now without any issues, except the acceleration and braking aren't as good as my car, but in other aspects, it's better than mine.

It's cool to be unique. Driving something different sets you apart from the crowd.

Apart from its good quality, the Asian Lion has no advantages.

This is a good car, but there are too many people who don't understand cars and just follow what others say.

Hey, keep it down. You asked the right person about this. To be honest, this lesser-known "Lion" model is stuck in an awkward position. Let me tell you quietly, it doesn't offer much improvement over the Corolla. Plus, it was super expensive when it first launched, so nobody bought it. Even now, no one's interested. Shh, don't let others hear us.
