Have you ever had full car soundproofing done? Which brand did you use?
Hey guys with the 301, I'm feeling that the car noise is too loud. I just did maintenance two months ago and also replaced the tires with the original Giti 221. What's going on? The engine hood and trunk lid don't have any soundproof cotton. Would adding some help? Have any of you guys tried it?

7Seeking advice from NV200 experts: I'm really interested in the NV200. I plan to make some modifications for primarily home use, and for taking the kids on weekend trips. Focus is on comfort. 1. Is it necessary to do full car soundproofing? 2. If I modify the suspension, can it pass inspection? Is it legal? 3. Looking for some modification tips and things to watch out for from the experts.

10Does the G80 have any interior odors? I used to drive an XC60, and it didn't have any smell at all—the cabin was very comfortable. However, Volvo's soundproofing isn't great. I took a ride in a car-hailing service today, and there was an indescribable odor inside the car. Not sure if it was a plastic smell or something else, but even though it was faint, it made sitting inside uncomfortable. I don't know how the driver tolerates it. I test drove the G80 and noticed a bit of a smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. It definitely can't compare to a new Volvo. I'm curious if the smell will still be there after one or two months. With my previous XC60, even after being parked under the sun, there was no noticeable odor inside. Any G80 owners care to share their experience?
