8My wife bought an 18-year-old used car, and today I drove it for a few dozen kilometers. I have a habit of occasionally resting my hand on the gear shift. When I did that, I noticed an issue. When shifting from second to first gear, I felt a slight "ka-ta" sensation! The sound is very faint, and you probably wouldn't notice it without your hand on the gear shift. Is this indicating a problem?

10I recently got a CX-5 less than a month ago, and I noticed that when starting the car cold and shifting to D gear, there's a noticeable "jerking" sensation as the car moves forward. After driving for a while and the car warms up, when switching between N and D gear, the jerking sensation is still there but much less noticeable. Is this normal?
