Is the fuel consumption of the Land Cruiser really as high as they say? Does the five-speed transmission consume that much fuel?

My 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Off-road Edition is completely stock and has run 3600 km. On the highway, it averages 11.6L/100km, and in the city, about 15.0L/100km. I'm quite satisfied! 😁

LTD, mainly runs on highways and suburban elevated roads, with a displayed fuel consumption of around 12 liters per 100 kilometers.

Fuel consumption is normally 15.

It largely depends on driving habits. I'm currently at 13.6.
