I have a 2012 model with a 1.3 engine. Do you guys also experience a lack of power when climbing hills? Even when I press the accelerator hard, it feels like it's struggling.

It's normal, in the summer with the AC on, carrying my son, my parents, going uphill on the highway, stuck in 2nd gear at 40. Can't shift to 3rd, even slower than a fully loaded coal truck climbing uphill. [I need a moment]

1.3 manual. When I'm driving alone, no hill is a problem. But with two people in the car, I'm hesitant to shift into first gear on the slope in the underground parking lot.

In first gear, the 1.3 manual can handle slopes that other cars can manage too. Many people haven't realized the potential of this car, just like some people never discover their own potential.

Check your engine displacement and the slope. Even cars need to know their limits.

It's normal for me to bring someone specifically to push the car when I'm going uphill. [little applause]

I'm fine, I just want to be alone for a while.

The mechanic replaced the catalytic converter for me, but now the car lacks power when climbing and accelerating. Do I have to buy an original catalytic converter? The original one is quite expensive, over 5000.

My car is automatic, and I recently noticed that when I start on an uphill, there's a kind of "bo bo" sound when I press the gas. It seems like it's coming from the transmission. But when I'm driving normally, there's no problem. Even when I hit the gas hard or drive on the highway, it's fine. It's just when I start on an uphill. 😂

When driving, if the car suddenly doesn't respond when you press the accelerator, and even flooring it doesn't increase the RPM, but releasing and pressing it again solves the issue, this could be a problem. When starting on a steep slope, if the car feels powerless and sometimes can't climb, requiring several attempts to increase RPM, there might be an issue to address.
