I used to use A5B5, but later switched to a cheaper domestic 5-30 engine oil, which is just around 11 viscosity. I change it every 5000 km, and since I don't drive aggressively, it's been fine so far. I've driven about 50,000 to 60,000 km with this cheaper oil.

Big brands are all acceptable.

Total semi-synthetic is fine, change it every 7,000 kilometers or every 6 months.
