My 2009 Peugeot 307 has a transmission oil leak. I had it repaired once, but it's leaking again. The mechanic said that taking it apart for repairs would cost thousands and it's not worth it anymore. He suggested just adding some oil from time to time.

My car has a 4AT transmission and it's leaking oil for some reason. When I got it checked, they said it needs to be taken apart, which would cost thousands. They also said I don't need to worry about it for now. I'm not really sure what's going on. Anyway, there's a layer of oil under the transmission casing on the chassis, but it's more like a slow seep rather than a full-blown leak.
