In 2009 Peugeot 307, the gearbox is slightly leaking oil. The mechanic said that if you want to repair the gearbox, it would cost a few thousand. If the leak isn't serious, you can just leave it and regularly add gearbox oil.

It costs thousands to repair, but selling it might only get me around 3,000. [I need some quiet time]

Hello MDX car owners, how many liters of engine oil do you usually add during maintenance? How many kilometers can you run? I used Mobil this year, added 5 liters each time, but the oil is almost running out after just over 5000 kilometers. It's burning quite a bit, is this normal?

My 2009 Peugeot 307 has a transmission oil leak. I had it repaired once, but it's leaking again. The mechanic said that taking it apart for repairs would cost thousands and it's not worth it anymore. He suggested just adding some oil from time to time.

If you have purchased a second-hand 2009 Peugeot 307 sedan with a 1.6 automatic engine and it has run 150,000 kilometers, and you notice that it runs at 3300 RPM at 120 km/h on the highway, you might want to consider changing the transmission oil. It's generally a good idea to check the maintenance history of a used car and ensure that essential fluids like transmission oil are fresh, especially if you are experiencing high RPMs.

This pipe seems to be leaking oil. Does this happen to you as well? Also, what is the purpose of this pipe? Is it for exhaust gas recirculation?

How often do you guys change your oil? I did my first oil change after over 6000 km, and then again close to 12000 km. I drive 80% on highways and the rest in the city. I always refuel with PetroChina and Sinopec. After a recent trip of over a thousand kilometers on the highway, I felt the accelerator wasn't as responsive, so I changed the oil again.

What type of engine oil should I add to my Prado 2700 that has run over 180,000 kilometers but doesn't burn oil? Thank you, everyone!

Has anyone done a wheel alignment? My City has uneven wear on the left rear tire and slightly pulls to one side. I've heard that the City’s rear wheels are non-adjustable and you can only add shims during alignment. Is this safe? Also, is it necessary to do a wheel alignment since the tires are quite cheap? 🤦‍♂️

Is there anyone else with a 2013 Peugeot 3008, who has driven 3,000 kilometers and received an "add oil" warning? Is it common for cars to have such serious issues?
