Can a 2009 Peugeot 307 hatchback automatic with 150,000 km go on the highway? I asked the repair shop, and they said it's okay for short distances, but not for long trips.

Whether a car can run on the highway isn't determined by its age, but by its condition. If you feel there's an issue with the car, just get it fixed.

This Spring Festival, I drove my Peugeot 307 automatic. I traveled 3000 kilometers without any issues. It was great, averaging 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers and costing around 3500 dirhams. Before the festival, I took it to the service shop for maintenance, checking the oil and other fluids. No problem at all. It's already at 200,000 kilometers. My 2008 Peugeot is running great, all parts are imported. I plan to keep it for another ten years. After all, it's an annual inspection. Selling it wouldn't bring much money, and I wouldn't sell it for 6000 dirhams. I'll just keep driving it for another decade.

Are you kidding me? I have an '09 2.0MT. It's super fast on the highway. At city traffic lights, except for electric cars, other fuel cars can only see my tail lights when I start.

There's no such thing. I still drove on the highway back in 2007.

I have a C4 Sega from September 2016 with a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine, now at 330,000 kilometers. I often use it for long-distance travel and sometimes drive 800 kilometers in a day, frequently reaching speeds of 150, 160, 170, or even 180 km/h. Recently, I've noticed a slight issue: two of the wheels are slightly deformed. This was checked during maintenance, and I can feel it when driving. It's likely due to not slowing down when going over potholes...

If you just leave your car sitting without driving and don't take care of it, you'll run into problems. But if you repair and replace things when needed, you won't have these issues.

Peugeot 307 from 2007, round trip from Guizhou to Zhejiang on the highway. The top speed reached was 165 km/h. It could have gone faster, but I decided to take it easy. Luckily, it didn't break down on me halfway! 😄😄😄

I guess there won't be any problem with 200-300 kilometers.
