The engine also makes a rattling noise when starting, and the RPM is over 1000, but it settles down in a few seconds! I suspected the chain, but since the RPM is also high, I ruled that out! Has anyone experienced something similar?

Does your car have this kind of noise? The engine is making a strange sound. I suspect it's the VTC gear making noise.

Hello fellow car enthusiasts! I'm having an issue with my car and would like to seek your advice. The check engine light is on, and it's hard to start the car (it takes a while to start). Once it starts, the RPM is normal, but as soon as I shift gears, the RPM immediately jumps to over 1000, almost 2000. When I shift back to Park, the RPM slowly returns to normal. I've already replaced the throttle, and it worked fine for two days, but now the same problem is back. Has anyone else encountered this? What could be the issue?

Hey fellow car enthusiasts, do you also notice that when you start the car in P gear, the engine revs quite loudly, usually above 1000 RPM? But once you shift to D gear, it drops below 1000 RPM and the sound gets much quieter. Is that the case for you too?
