Hello everyone, I'd like to ask something. When I cold start my car, the idle speed is quite high and when I release the brake, the power is strong and it just surges forward. But after driving for a few minutes or waiting at a few traffic lights, it starts to lose power. When I release the brake, it moves very slowly, and it only gets a bit better if I press the accelerator. It's a 2007 model with an automatic transmission.

I went for a test drive at the dealership. The steering wheel felt heavy, maybe I'm not used to it. But why does it feel uncomfortable when lightly pressing the accelerator at low speeds? It's like something's holding you back from going fast, yet tempting you to press the pedal harder.

Hey everyone, I bought my car in December 2019. I haven't driven it much in the past two months, and it's been quite rainy. I've noticed some rust in this spot. Does it affect the car? Does the G80 have any interior odors? I used to drive an XC60, and it didn't have any smell at all—the cabin was very comfortable. However, Volvo's soundproofing isn't great. I took a ride in a car-hailing service today, and there was an indescribable odor inside the car. Not sure if it was a plastic smell or something else, but even though it was faint, it made sitting inside uncomfortable. I don't know how the driver tolerates it. I test drove the G80 and noticed a bit of a smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. It definitely can't compare to a new Volvo. I'm curious if the smell will still be there after one or two months. With my previous XC60, even after being parked under the sun, there was no noticeable odor inside. Any G80 owners care to share their experience?

Why has there been frequent gear lag recently? It's a 2019 model with a 1.4T dry dual-clutch. After picking up speed and then braking, the gear doesn't match the speed. For instance, it's in 6th gear at 45 km/h and 5th gear at 35 km/h, but it doesn't downshift further. It upshifts quite eagerly. Went to the 4S shop, and they said the engine isn't strong enough, and the gearbox can't be adjusted?
