2024 Chery Fulwin T10 in-depth Walkaround
On July 20, Chery announced that its new plug-in hybrid SUV, the Fulwin T10, has set a new Guinness World Record for “the longest distance driven by a plug-in hybrid SUV under a full fuel tank and full battery without recharging.” The journey, which began on July 17, started from Shangri-La and passed through Kunming, Baise, and Zhanjiang, before concluding in Zhuhai. The Fulwin T10 covered over 2,100 km, surpassing the previous record by 300 km.
The Fulwin T10 boasts 4850 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1712 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm. The five-seater trim has a curb weight of 1935 kg, while the six-seater version weighs between 2028 kg and 2069 kg.
Under the hood, the Fulwin T10 is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM plug-in hybrid system, delivering a maximum power of 455 kW (610 hp) and a peak torque of 960 Nm in the four-wheel-drive version, and 280 kW (375 hp) with 610 Nm of torque in the two-wheel-drive variant. The system features a 1.5T engine paired with electric motors. The engine alone produces 115 kW (154 hp) and 220 Nm of torque. The four-wheel-drive model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with a battery pack supplied by CATL, which has a capacity of 34.46 kWh and an energy density of 150 Wh/kg. This allows for two pure electric ranges of 210 km and 200 km (CLTC), corresponding to fuel consumption rates of 5.75L/100 km and 6.8L/100 km, respectively. The Fulwin T10 supports fast and slow charging options, with DC fast charging at 71 kW allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
